Bring your four-legged friend to the Museum of Illusions Amsterdam for a special Dog Day! On Sunday, September 27, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, we’re opening our doors for a unique dog-friendly museum experience in Amsterdam, full of surprising illusions, special photo opportunities, and unforgettable memories you can create together!

During the event, visitors (and their dogs) can discover more than 60 mind-bending illusions—from swapping noses to appearing to float endlessly into infinity. Everything is designed to ensure a relaxing visit for both humans and dogs. It’s the perfect activity to enjoy with your dog in Amsterdam, with plenty of fun and shareable moments scattered throughout the museum.

You can also expect extra surprises during your visit, including fun pop-ups from local partners such as By Bruno Amsterdam, and more! During the visit, dogs can look forward to tasty treats, and a few fun surprises along the way, making this much more than just a regular museum visit!

This special event is organised in support of DOA, the largest animal shelter in the Netherlands. Together, we’re committed to raising awareness and funds for the important work DOA does for dogs and cats looking for a new home. For every ticket sold, €2 is donated directly to DOA to support their care for animals in Amsterdam.

Whether you’re looking for a unique dog-friendly experience in Amsterdam or simply a special outing with your dog, Dog Day offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to explore the Museum of Illusions in a whole new way—while supporting a good cause at the same time.

We look forward to welcoming you and your four-legged friend for an evening full of fun, wonder, and unforgettable moments!
