From the 24th to the 30th of November, the Museum of Illusions Amsterdam is celebrating Teachers' Week. During this week, there will be three open days where teachers can learn more about our educational programmes, explore the museum, ask questions and discover how a visit can enrich learning in the classroom.
On Wednesday the 26th of November, Saturday the 29th of November and Sunday the 30th of November, teachers can participate in a short educational programme and explore the museum for free. During these sessions, we will introduce our options for school visits, explain how our programmes tie in with the curriculum and show how illusions relate to science, art, mathematics, philosophy and CKV.
Our team will be on hand during these days to answer questions and provide insight into how we can support teachers in creating meaningful, practical learning experiences. Teachers can also take home our handbooks, which are packed with resources and ideas for planning school trips. Each teacher will receive free admission for themselves and one guest (e.g. a colleague, child or friend).
